Ray graduated from the Crawford College of Art and Design in 2001 and has subsequently exhibited widely, in Ireland, the UK and China. Ray has received various awards from the Arts Council of Ireland, and the Cork City Council. He has also had several residencies at the Cill Rialiag Project in Ballinskelligs, Ireland and at the Backwater Arts Group in Cork. His work has been collected by such public institutions as the Office of Public Works, University College Cork, Cork Institute of technology, and the Higher Education and Training Awards Council. Since receiving a Masters Degree in
Fine Art at the Wimbledon College of Art
Ray has been living and working in London. He has co-curated two
exhibitions of Irish and chinese art in Beijing in 2009. Ray has also
worked as part of the POST
artists network on an intervention art project that will took place in
Merton, London, during the summer of 2009.
